Laboratory Management Information System (LMIS)
LMIS is responsible for testing processes which include specimen receival, storage, preparation, planning, assigning, testing, reporting and controlling according to the defined rules by QMS.
LMIS is integrated with all other systems included in labMania. System is responsible from specimen receiving process to testing process.
LMIS is driven over the whole institution test divisions.
Planning of tests which includes several divisions are done by division chiefs' board.
Divison Chief plans the waiting tests according to several rules and possibilites of the division.
Planned tests are acquired or assigned to professionals and/or equipment.
The professional starts the testing process according to the procedures defined by QMS, he/she can evaluate the whole procedure when needed.
LMIS provides the professionals to operate the test with the equipment certified by the Calibration Management Information System (CMIS). He/she can see the calibration values, evaluates the results accordingly. Moreover the system also mark the equipment used during the test and feeds back CMIS for the usage period or count; which simplifies the calibration and testing.
During the test if the process is stopped or paused the related code defined by QMS is marked for the work order. So that the empty periods are evaluated statistically. Hence if a response from the applicant/other division/management is needed it is reported electronically. This feature decreases the bottlenecks and improves testing performance.
Testing procedure is completed by acceptance of the division chief.
After the test the related test document generated by the QMS is filled by the professional over the system.
Work order is then assigned to the Certification Information System (CIS).
